Journey Home Community (JHC)
Dear Members of Nelson Ave.,
We are very grateful for the participation of NACC in our ministry this past year. We simply cannot function and bring a supportive community environment to newly arriving refugees without the commitment of churches and friends of JHC.
We believe that a local church can do what we do at JHC with some training and coaching along the way--providing housing, settlement support and relational care for a newly arriving refugee claimant family. We cannot provide assistance to all the families that arrive in Metro Vancouver, but we believe we can multiply ourselves through already established church communities to reach more families.
We look forward to a positive year ahead and count on Nelson Avenue's continuing support.
