your calendar. This is a traditional dish for Christmas in Romania. Dana will show us how to make them, with bring-our-own ingredients.

What should you bring?
· 1 kg grounded meat – your choice – pork, beef, turkey, a mixture of it (For vegetarian option bring 500 gr fresh mushrooms (any type)
· One large white cabbage or two medium cabbages – Taiwanese cabbage is best, because is softer – lots of grocery carry this type of cabbage
· One large cane of diced tomatoes, 2 large onions, 3 large cloves garlic
· 1 cup of rice
· ½ cup oil – any oil - grape seed, avocado, sunflower etc.
· Thyme, Dill – fresh or dry, Salt, Pepper, paprika
· Optional (for smoked flavor) - Smoked piece of bacon ~ 300-400 gr
